This is a very simple piece of gear, but it holds one of my bags and is a key part of my setup. I’ve had the handlebar sling from Bike Bag Dude on my handlebars for every trip since November 2021.
Thats more than 35,000 kms on all sorts of terrain over more than three years, without the slightest issue. It’s been rock solid the whole way.
I’ve just ordered another one for my Central Asia trip, as the velcro on the original hardly sticks anymore and I don’t want to be in the middle of Tajikistan and have a gear failure. There’ll be enough to keep me occupied on that trip !
