I’m in Heathcote tonight after a pretty brisk but dry 50kms from Bendigo. Tomorrow, I’ll head to Seymour and train it to Melbourne, stay with an old friend, and spend 4 days with Timo, Kath and Minou. No more cycling for this trip, it’s getting to cold down here. Next will be Asia or Europe – still deciding.
I’ve zig-zagged a bit thru Victoria, from Port Campbell the Great Ocean Road, through Beech Forest, Colac and down to Torquay before taking a train to Bendigo yesterday. Today, I clicked over 4000kms for the trip since March 10 and loved every minute of it.
Today was really pleasant but cool riding on some quiet roads and trails. When I got to Heathcote, I found a town affected by roadwork which went for half of the main street..I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done, but my timing couldn’t have been worse.
