I caught the bus to Jerantut. I figured that this was the best way to go due to there not being much accommodation along the way.
At the bus station I was told probably 5 times that the bike couldn’t go onto the bus, but when you pay the driver directly, everything is possible. We were best friends after that, the bike (the Hulk, as it is now called) was well looked after.
When I arrived I decided to do a 2 day trek in the rainforest, so the next morning, I decided to leave the Hulk in the good care of the hotel people (not without a little trepidation. It is my baby after all) and to get tomorrow’s minibus to Taman Negara National Park which has one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
