Today was just me, my bike, lunch and the headwind. There were no stops for water or food along the way, so I loaded up in Mt. Gambier, grabbed a coffee and got going.
Did I mention the headwind. Let’s say it was a pleasant ride. Certainly uninteresting. I found a spot to stop near Pleasant Park and was out of the wind and in the sunshine, but that was a warm as the day got. I rode with a fleece jacket on for the first time and needed it.
The drivers on the road were really good except for the oncoming truck who forced me well off the road as he cut the corner and steamed by. No idea. I guess he was on his way home on Friday afternoon.
Casterton looks nice and has a great friendly feel about it.
