Not much to report. This was a very nice short ride by the beach then it became hot and boring as I approached Hua Hin. The hotel I’m at, Le Pastel is absolutely lovely. Not shiny and schmick, but full of character.
It was all systems go with logistics after I’d settled in. I extended my visa. That was fun. The ladies at immigration couldn’t believe I was cycling through their country. After lots of laughing and jokes, they stamped my passport and I’m good for an extra 30 days – until Oct 1.
Then it was off to the station to see about trains to Bangkok and how to bring the bike. The result was that I had to rush back to the hotel and bring the bike this arvo.
Later, I walked on the beach and swam in the overly warm water. An early night was needed as I had to leave the hotel before 6am the next day.
