Sea Lake to Geranium

It’s been very dry through the countryside here. I spent a night in Ouyen after a day on some very quiet roads and then went to the Pink Lakes in the Murray Sunset NP. These are pink salt lakes that are well worth checking out.

Then it was on to Pinnaroo and trying to work out how I can navigate the Easter Break on my way to Adelaide.

On the way, a car came up beside me offering encouragement. A few kms up the road I saw a cyclist – same guy. He’d parked and got his bike out. We rode together chatting for 10kms to Cowangie. Thanks @sdoddo, you really made my day.

Today, I took a nice dirt road out of Pinnaroo and cranked up the music, then it was back onto the Mallee Hwy to the nice village of Geranium. It’s in the same league as Swan Hill, Speed and Galah – who named them ? Of course, I’m yet to see any geraniums.
